Brody and I went down to Vegas last week for Syndal's dance competition. We went down with Syndal, Mike, Michelle, Josh, Heather and Maddison.
I bet you are wondering what is under this cup.
This guy was. Vegas has a lot of cockroaches. This is the one that we found on our first night there. I was really scared of it so I was up on the bed while Michelle and Syndal were trying to kill it. Then we put it under the cup until Mike and Brody were able to get back from the store to take care of it.
While we were in Vegas I really wanted to go to a restaurant called Dicks. I had heard a lot about it and thought it sounded fun. The waiters are supposed to be really mean to you and believe me, they are. We went to dinner there with Josh, Heather and Maddison.
They make these funny hats for you and they are basically really crude insults.
I had to take this picture of Brody because after 4 years of being together he finally trusts my driving enough he was able to fall asleep. FYI... I was not moving while this picture was taken, I was stopped at a red light.
Here is the 2nd cockroach that we found. This one was bigger and a lot scarier. Good thing Brody was there to catch him and flush it.
We got home really late on Sunday night so I did not get to see Lexi until Monday on my lunch break and she would not even give me a hug until I showed her the things that I brought her back. Here she is with her bag full of stuff.
After she pulled out all of the new clothes she wanted to try them on and then she wanted to do a little photo shoot. Girls are so fun!!!
We had a fun trip but we missed our Lexi a whole lot and I like to think despite all the fun she had with her grandparents she missed us a little too.

Looks like you had fun! Was that place called Dick's because it was rude or crude? (HA, I rhymed!) Lexi is so darling, I can't stand it!
