Sick Baby Girl

My sweet little Lexi has not been feeling so good. On Saturday she had a lower fever in the morning of 100.5 and later that night her fever had gone up to 102.3. She didn't seem to have any other symptoms and on Sunday she was doing fine. I thought all was well until last night when she was complaining of a tummy ache. Around 10:00 Lexi was throwing up. I feel so bad for her, you can tell her belly is just hurting her. Hopefully she gets better soon. Here are a few pictures I took of Lexi on Saturday. Last night was not so pretty so didn't take any pictures.
I was cleaning up after lunch and came in the family room to see Lexi all curled up on the couch. She looked so cozy.

One of the employees at my work got married today and half the staff was invited to celebrate, the other half, not so lucky. For me it was just like in the movies when they are picking teams at recess for a game of dodge ball. Anyway, with a skeleton crew we got a little bored and decided to have some fun of our own. I present to you, my work buddies....Wendy

Treehouse Museum

We went up to my dads on Saturday with Tara, Carter and Ava and had so much fun. We ate and then went to Treehouse Museum. There was so many things there for the kids to play with. It was hard to keep them all in the same area. After that we went over to Costa Vida for a snack and watched a bunch of people surf. It was in the same building as Fat Cats so we played there for a minute too. The kids played ski-ball and rode on the mini carousel. They were so worn out by the end of the day. Lexi was particularly unpleasant by the end of the night and I am sure Ava could attest to that since Lexi felt the need to take everything out on her.

Here is grandpa with the 3 trouble makers.

She is a cute little fireman

My dad was the only one who would get in there for a picture. Lexi was to busy playing with the kitchen toys.

She loves to play with kitchens. It is hard to keep her out of my sink and dish washer.

Lexi loves babies, here she is brushing one babies teeth.

Baby Maddison, Wisdom Teeth, and Prom

Here is Brody with his face all swollen. He does not look very happy.

Josh, Heather and Maddison

Lexi would not smile and I couldn't get her kool aid mustache off.

Syndal and Taylor

Lexi giving Aunt Syndal a love good bye.

This weekend was a busy one! I thought it would be nice and calm because Brody was getting his wisdom teeth out on Friday so we would just be able to relax and watch movies. Right?....Wrong! I got a phone call from a close friend, Heather on Friday around 10 while I was working. She was on her way to the hospital because the baby was coming! About an hour later she was being admitted to the hospital while Brody was getting his wisdom teeth out. Friday was one of the longest days of work, waiting to get a picture on my phone of the baby and waiting to hear from Michelle to see if Brody was ok. When I left work on Friday I went to Mike and Michelle's only to see that Brody was not feeling well. Brody and the anaesthesia do not mix well. At 8:30 Friday night I talked to Heather's mother in law and she had just had the baby! Baby Maddison was born weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 1/2 inches. I was able to go see Heather on Saturday and the baby is beautiful. She is so perfect and Lexi just loved her. Saturday night Syndal had her senior prom so we went over to see her leave and see her in her dress. She looked so pretty. On Sunday we finally got to hang out and have a relaxing day. Brody is feeling a little bit better but he is still swollen.

Dress Up

Lexi has started requesting that she not only wear her dress up clothes at the house but every where that we go, and yes I usually allow it. Her are 2 pictures of her when I took her to Amanda's house. Her in her P.J's that she will never take off with her Tinkerbell outfit over the top.
