Christmas

Santa Brought Lexi a Tinkerbell kitchen
As you can see she just loves her kitchen

Digging out the presents

Lexi would not hold still for a picture with my dad. This was the best I could get.

Santa knows how much Lexi loves the vacuum so he brought her a princess one. Grandpa Martin said that Santa will be the last man to ever give Lexi a vacuum.

This Christmas was an interesting one. We started at my moms house on Christmas Eve and ate dinner and opened presents with all of the siblings (minus Stan who is on his mission in DC). All the grand kids were excited to get their presents from grandma and grandpa who by the way did an excellent job at picking out presents that each child would love. Carter got Geo Tracks and he was so excited, Ava got a cute piano and so did Addi. Lexi got the full Cinderella out fit to play dress up. Lexi was so hyper all night until about 9 when she started throwing up. We had to cancel plans to go over to Michelle's and take her home and get her in bed. The next morning we went in her room to get her up and show her what Santa had brought but there was an unusual smell in her room. She had spit (as she calls it) again in her crib. So before opening presents we had to get her into the tub and all cleaned up. Once we got down stairs and opened presents she was so excited. My dad was able to come down and see her open all of her presents from Santa and he brought her some great toys as well. He gave her a baby doll that she just loves. My dad left and went up to Tara's house while Brody began shoveling the driveway. He did not have enough time to finish so he just shoved a path for me and Lexi out to the truck so we could get over to Mike and Michelle's. We got some great presents from them to go with our camp trailer. We got a camp chief and just about everything we will need for the inside. Lexi got a cute little tykes digital camera. We then headed to Georgia and Dude's (Brody's grandpa Mike and grandma Georgia) house for breakfast. Georgia makes the best biscuits and gravy! When we left there we went to Ray and Bonnie's (Michelle's parents) house for dinner. After that we went home and went to sleep because both Brody and I had to work in the morning. It was a great Christmas and Lexi is still singing Santa Claus is coming to town. We are excited for next year!

I have been punked!

I decided to take a half day last Tuesday to get a few Christmas things done and this is what I came back to work to on Wednesday. A bunch of my good work friends punked me! Amber said that is what I get for taking a half day off and leaving her alone. I just enjoyed opening everything. These pictures do not do their work justice. Everything was wrapped individually, every picture frame, computer speaker, tissue box, printer, stapler, candle, post it's, etc, etc.

Sick or Not???

The last week has been pretty weird for Lexi. I cannot figure out if she is sick or not. She has been tired and grumpy the last few days but she doesn't have a runny nose or temperature. Just a tummy ache. I got the camera out while she was watching cartoons and she made these faces for me.

Lexi's First Horse Ride

Look at her cute little face!

We went up to my dads house on Sunday and we all ate dinner and then went to the barn to ride Molly. Lexi had seen Molly before but this was her first time ever riding her and she liked it a lot. Molly is such a good horse, she let Carter, Lexi and Ava ride her. Lexi and Carter were running up and down the stales laughing and screaming and causing all the other horses to spook but Molly didn't seem to care. We had a fun time and love to go up to grandpas house. Lexi didn't want to leave she told me she was just going to stay there.

Another Favorite of Lexi's

NEMO!!! I have watched Finding Nemo more times then I can count. She asks to watch Nemo so much we have begun to tell her that he is sleeping so we can have at least 2 hours without hearing it through out the house. I have the whole movie memorized and so does Brody. The good thing is I can turn Nemo on and clean without Lexi coming along and making messes right behind me. She loves to make a bed on the family room floor with her special pillow and blanket and eat popcorn. The first two pictures are from a time that she past out on my bedroom floor watching Nemo. She is so Cute and we just love her!

What a Girl

Lexi loves to play with my heels! She will get them out of my closet and take them down to the kitchen so she can hear the loud clicks on the tile. She is such a girl. She loves having her finger nails painted and get her hair done. When I am getting ready in the morning she always comes in and tells me that she needs some make up and I will let her play with the blush brush. I thought I would share a few pictures. Girls are so fun!

Tagged By Tara!

Instructions:

1. Go to your pictures

2. Upload the 4th picture of the 4th folder

3. Post it
This picture was taken in CA when we went down to my Grandma Anderson's house. We went to the park right next to the zoo and in the park there were a few rides that the kids got to go on. Lexi absolutely loved this ride! It was the fact that Adam was sitting next to her telling her how scary the ride was and pinching her that caused her to cry. JK We had a great time at Grandmas house and I hope we get to go again soon. We miss and love all of our family down there.

FAMILY PICTURES!!!

Lexi was chasing the ducks

It took a while before Lexi started to like the idea of getting her pictures taken.

We had some family pictures taken and we just got them back. I am so excited and I think they turned out perfect!!! One of my friends from work took them for us and she did a fantastic job. Thank Mallory! I can't wait to get them printed and sent out to everyone.

6 Unspectacular Quirks

I have been tagged to list 6 unspectacular quirks things about myself. This should be a piece of cake.

1. I absolutely hate anything sticky! I hate band aides, tape, stickers, chewed gum, etc. etc. It makes me sick to touch them. Poor Lexi will have to grow up without ever being able to buy band aides and stick them all over her dolls.

2. I am really weird about my eyes. They are very sensitive to light and I cannot even talk about my eyes without them starting to water. They are watering as I write this.

3. I cannot eat the last bite of a meal. I can have a huge plate full of food and I can eat almost the whole thing, then I get to the last bite and something makes me stop.

4. I LOVE to scare people. I have been popping put of closets and jumping around the corner just to scare someone as long as I can remember. I am known for it at work and home. I just love to see the look on every ones face when the get scared. It hilarious!

5. I hate eating warm fruit. When I read Tara's blog I found something else we have in common. We both do not like warm fruit. I think pineapple on a pizza is just wrong!

6. I am a huge reality TV junky. I have the DVR set to record a ton of shows. I record Days of our Lives, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, The Hills, Americas Next Top Model, Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood, Grey Anatomy, How It's Made, So You Think You Can Dance, and American Idol.

I now have to pass this on and here are the rules! Meme terms & conditions: Link the person who tagged you.Mention the rules on your blog. List 6 unspectacular things or quirks about you. Tag 6 other bloggers by linking them.

The Trip to St. George

The Amazing pool and hot tub!!!
Lexi and Carter wondering off to explore.
Fiesta Family Fun Center where we played mini golf, bumper boats and go carts.
Can you tell she is not feeling well??? Look at those sad eyes:(

We went down to St. George this weekend for a family vacation and had a lot of fun but poor Lexi ended up getting sick. It started with what we thought was simply heat rash but after her entire body was covered with little red spots were realized it was something more. No worries it is NOT chicken pox just a virus. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

The Shed

I am finally starting to see real progress on the shed! Yeah! I took some pictures of Brody and his friend Nate working on the shed. It has been a lot of work (well for Brody, I have not had to do any work on the shed I just make sure they have something to drink if they are thirsty).

Alexa'a 1st black eye

Last Monday Lexi was home with Daddy while Mommy was away at work and whenever Mommy is not around the family room becomes a romper room. While playing with Brody, Lexi darted across the family room and jumped up on the couch but unfortunately her eye hit the hard corner. If you ask Lexi what happened she will just tell you that she fell off the couch. Although I am sure this will not be her last black eye, I still feel really bad.

Playing at the Park

We could only get Ava to look in the right spot!

If you look closely there are large bumps on the middle slide. Ouch!

We met up with Tara, Cory, Jackie, Carter, & Ava at the park on Friday night and of course Lexi and Carter were so excited to play together and they ran from slide to slide. They were playing so cute together and poor Ava wanted nothing more then to be running right next to them. Ava just watched and participated when she was able to. We tried really hard to get a picture with all 3 smiling and looking at the camera but it was just to difficult. Has anybody ever been able to get 3 toddlers to cooperate in a picture? After the park we took the kids to McDonald's for ice-cream which they didn't eat (well except or Ava) because they were to busy running around in the play place. What a fun night!
