Mothers Day & New Camping Toy

This mothers day we had a BBQ with Brody's family on Saturday before the jazz game and it was so fun having everyone over to the house. The food was great and the best part was the women didn't have to cook it. On Sunday Brody, Lexi and I went to lunch at Wingers and then did a little shopping. Later that evening we went to my Mom's house and had dessert with the family. Brody and Lexi spoiled me yet again this Mothers Day. Brody knew I wanted something that would make it so I could play my i-pod through my car stereo and instead of keeping it simple he got me this.....

Now I will be able to make phone calls through my stereo, listen to my i-pod and watch DVDs. I am really excited for him to install it in the jeep. We also got a new camping toy for the expanding family. It is called a teryx and it will be able to hold all 4 of us while we go riding in the mountains. It has seat belts for car seats and a roll cage just in case. For the grandma's that are reading this... don't worry we will not be taking a brand new baby in the teryx and I will not be doing any extreme riding in this while pregnant either. Now we need to get the camp trailer out and head up into the Uintas for some camping!

Dentist Check Up

It was time again for all of us to go in for our dentist check up. Lexi and I are cavity free but Brody had 1. Lexi let Dr. Ashton check her this time and then she got to help Grandma Michelle clean Daddy's teeth.

Trip to Vegas!

We went to Las Vegas mid April and had a lot of fun. It was nice to get away and relax. Brody and his friend Ben spent a lot of time at the race track to watch the NHRA Drag races (this was the whole reason for the trip) and I spent a lot of time with my sister Jackie.
She took me to lots of different malls in hopes to find some great maternity clothes. Unfortunately I left Vegas with only 1 new pair of pants. On the last day of the races I decided to go with Brody and Ben. It was much better then I thought it was going to be. I had only seen them on TV before but it was cool to see it in person and to feel your entire body shake as the cars passed you by. FYI... the races will get you very dirty. I had little black spots all over me which were tiny pieces of tires. Before they would race each other the cars would do a little burn out and the tires get so hot they melt. I was glad I got to go with Brody and see what they were all about. His uncle Mike and aunt Tracie had also gone down for the races and we got to spend time with them at the track as well.
