Trying to Catch Up

I have been really bad about blogging for the past 3 or 4 months so I am trying to catch up on some of our favorite things that occurred in the last little while. I will be updating with pictures of the new finished room in the basement soon.

Deer Hunt 2009

We went camping with Brody's family for the Deer Hunt and had a ton of fun. Lexi loves camping and hates when we are packing up to head home. Everyone has to wear orange during the deer hunt and Lexi was wearing the sweater that Brody wore when he was little.

Lexi is to young to drive the 4 wheeler by herself so Gage would take her on rides around our camp and when he was out with the boys hunting I took her for a ride.

Sister Sleep Over

The night of Thanksgiving Tara, Jackie and I all went out shopping as soon as the stores were open. We decided to go to my moms and try to sleep for an hour or so and then head to our first stop around 11 PM. We thought it would be funny to get some pictures of all of us girls with our Mom reading us a story (My Sisters Keeper).

Disney On Ice

Tara and I took the girls to Disney on Ice and they loved it. We went to Chilli's before and had to keep forcing Lexi and Ava to eat. It was a lot of fun. The girls came home best friends!

Kanosh Half Marathon

My work held a half marathon in Kanosh, UT and it was a ton of fun to go down and be a part of. I did not participate in the running or walking, Brody and I went to help along the trail with drinks.

Dentist Vist

We took Lexi into the Dentist again and she is still afraid of Dr. Ashton so Grandma gets to take a look inside instead.

The last 39 days of our lives in a nutshell!

It has been a long time since my last blog and a lot has happened. We have been really busy but it has been a lot of fun. The last 39 days have consisted of the following:

- A trip to California for an Anderson Family Reunion. It was so much fun and I was glad that Lexi and I were able to go down. Tara, Carter, Ava, Lexi and I all decided to drive down together in the same car... that only lasted about 2 hours. Thank you Dad for helping us with the kids and allowing them to take turns in your car. This kept the hitting, kicking, pinching, screaming and everything else in between to a minimum. After 13 hours of driving down we made it to grandma's house safe and sound. The trip home only took us 12 hours...we made great timing!

- Envision Summer Party! Every year my work throws a party for all of our loan officers and it is held at Kearns Pool. (sorry no pictures)

- Josh and Heather had Baby Maddison blessed.

- Trip to the Zoo with Tara, Carter and Ava.

- I took on more responsibility at work.

- Brody has had more work at home. He has had so many side jobs recently. Every one of my siblings has had their car need work in the past few months (except Stan because he does not have a car since he is serving a mission in DC & Jackie's car had a problem but it was covered under warranty.)

- A Family "staycation" with my Mom, Phil and siblings. We did a girls night and went to a movie and the next day we went swimming, had a family BBQ and then went back to my house to roast marshmallows.
- I read a BOOK! I never read... but I bought a book and read the WHOLE thing start to finish in 4 days. I cannot tell you which book or else I will be made fun of forever.

- Lexi managed to get the biggest goose egg on forehead that I have ever seen by running into the kitchen table at Amanda's house when I came to pick her up.

It has been a fun month but a tired one. Lexi managed to get in a few naps where ever she felt comfortable.
