Brody had to back the truck up to the pavilion so we could get things packed up.

To start the day off I completely jinxed myself by asking what would I do if it rained today? The party was perfect as everyone arrived but the weather slowly worsened. We ate dinner and began opening presents. That is when it started raining. While Lexi opened her presents I sat thinking and asking myself when do I send everyone home? When Lexi was half way done Hurricane Lexi kicked in and the lightening was right above us. I then knew it was time for everyone to go home. Once the storm passed Lexi played in the puddles and was soaking wet. The good news is there was not much to clean up. She had a blast and it will be a party to remember.

Lexi's 2nd Birthday!!!

Today was Lexi's birthday! I was devoted to making her birthday fun because her party is not until Saturday. We went out for lunch and Lexi got her favorite fries and fry sauce. Our friends Josh G, Don, Lindsey, & Amber came and gave Lexi her new chairs that match her room. We also got a pizza and went to the park and Lexi played for hours. She loved the swing and slides. We went with Josh C, Heather, Ben, Adam, & Grandma and Grandpa Harris to the park. We had a blast! Happy Birthday baby girl. We love you!

We took Lexi swimming for her 3rd time and she is finally starting to like it. We had her blowing bubbles in the water and kicking her feet. I am glad she is taking after her mom and grandpa and turning into a little fish.
